Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra in Cole, Wagner and Tchaikovsky
February 12 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm UTC+0
The evocative composition Sunlight Channel by mid-century American female composer Ulric Cole opens this concert, part of the American Discoveries series of the orchestra.
We welcome the return of Lisa Willson DeNolfo, for Wagner’s Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan & Isolde. (Her Four Last Songs, by Strauss, has been a recent highlight of the orchestra’s performances).
The program is completed by Tchaikovsky’s beloved Fourth Symphony, a romantic favorite of audiences everywhere. This romantic concert is one not to be missed!
